Regional innovation strategy and creation of ARI Picardy

As part of the European development plan, also known as the Lisbon Strategy, the French State and the Regional Council of Picardy draw up a regional innovation strategy in late 2007 and created the Regional Agency of Innovation:  ARI Picardy.

The agency is an association funded by Europe (ERDF), French State and the Regional Council of Picardy.

Picardy’s priorities for innovation encompass

Strong industrial sectors:

• Mechanical Engineering, materials, fibres
• Agro-resources, green chemistry, agro-based materials
• Transport, multimodality, advanced logistics

Fast growing sectors:

• Green building
• Autonomy of the disabled, health
• Risk management and environment

Our offer to project leaders based in Picardy

• Specify and formulate their needs
• Analyze and structure theirs ideas or innovation projects, study their positioning (objectives, strategy, partners, competition…),
• Profile the most suited financial arrangement for the projects through our knowledge of public and private financial actors,
• Take advantage of European timeliness and include their know-how to a European program.
